They wanted early teamfight and push, most heroes for that role fall off much harder than her.

Then they should have went with someone like Clinkz, Gyro, Sven, Alch. All weren't banned and do that much better than Luna.

Does LGD even think their strat is kind of secret? in that game. Talk about telegraphing a stupid idea - and then the way they handed the pit was lol worthy.

I think they hoped DK wouldn't make it in time anyway, picking Ursa is telegraphing "hey we will try lvl 1 rosh!"

We just had a pretty epic forum stack game. We started pretty shit. Me especially I totally underestimated tide - and gave up a stupid early casual fb. They kind of go into troll mode - and lose in 55 minutes. We have some epic defenses. Game ID 324845855

Saw an EG game I think a couple days ago? Anyway I really liked their draft. Think they were playing SSD and won it 18 to 0. It was one of the most intense pushing lineups I've ever seen. DS Solo Hard, DK mid, and Troll/VS/Chen Defensive Tri. I mean, the synergy between the DK poison, Troll Ult, VS wave terror (I'm pretty sure this effects towers right?), and Chens ridiculous early game pushing power. I think they had like 3 towers up at the 15 minute mark. Easily one of the biggest stomp fests I've ever seen in this game. I hope we see the emergence of more pushing lineups, but I'm guessing Troll is going to be banned more and more now on. Either way, you can still create some great pushes without him, or substitute him for BM/Lycan Necro or hell even a LD with a Deso (OK that's stupid).

I know SSD played their draft poorly. They should have focused on creating space for Alchemist while pushing their teams early advantage in power and secured a few kills pre 8 minute mark. That QOP was just embarassing.

Another lineup I saw recently I believe on LGD was a ES/Elder/Kotl wombo combo. Elder Titan is easily my favorite hero at the moment. I've been ROFL stomping with him on my smurf (why I have a smurf when my current account is so noob don't ask).

Anyway, I'd really like to play some Captains with people on the board, just haven't had much time to play.

Here's the EG game.

Yea, I watched that game.

Interesting the meta East vs West since these new heroes were added.

East = Elder Titan
West = Troll

So much that those heroes have made it to first ban phase. ET the guys on BTS were saying had a 60%+ win rate so far in pro dota and something like a 12 game win streak recently. Watching one of those CN teams was hilarious with like ET sleep into icepath vacuum wall macropyre etc is the new setup for the mega combos, and ofc naga sleep can be in there. Full teams just getting melted. Just glad to see new heroes, someone just won with centaur too.

Yeah the forum stack game with rapier kunkka was fun stuff. I wanted to play trololol carry abaddon but I ended up doing support mode because I died stupidly a few times early game. There was a fight near the rosh pit where your tidebringer instakilled two of them. Still can't believe they didn't finish us off when they were up mid lane and several kills / levels.

Does anyone else always forget to use mek? I always remember to use stuff like Shivas or scythe, but mek always slips my mind.

Focus on how much hp your carry has (or whoever they will focus) and fire it off once that bar starts dropping. I have no idea how we were winning teamfights, I mean they had drow, tide, ds and I usually just focused on not dying, then we somehow came out way ahead.

Kunkka does work - abbadon was basically babysitting me with the shield - so I could continually set up splash hits by being broken out of cc, Boat rum also delays damage for quite some time - its hard to quantify all the times people don't die because rum draws out the fight. The Witch doctor ults were perfectly executed and ran full duration with agh's which is stupid damage in a small area. Jug did a good job of continually being disruptive and and the combination of tidebringer and abbadon shield and spin more or less blew up any any creeps in the fights so when the jug ult came out - it was 100% hits on enemy heroes. Drow is only a single target carry, and we had a lot more AE. They kept initiating uphill in that tiny choke - and as long as our team just didn't get mass combo'd down (like that time in mid lane) they ran out of gas. They were also terrible about sentries or gem. While we protected ours / played correctly. They had two shadowblades and vendetta and those were basically worthless items beyond a certain point, because abbadon takes time to kill, they couldn't just take our vision away. I was able to x torrent initiate against less than their full team multiple times because of our vision control. In many ways they threw the game - or at least didn't give themselves their best chance to win.

West is well aware of ET and he gets picked/banned quite a bit in NAEDL. Bulba played ET last night, and in the semipros I've seen him quite a bit as well.
