Don't play back to back games.

I just realized it for the past few days; before I would play a game win, play another lose, play another lose again (with shitty players).

Now I'm taking like a half a day breaks between MMR games and I haven't lost a single one. I'm matched with better people (some even better than me I admit).

Went from 3300 -> 3597 in three or four days.

yeah I think ive noticed this trend, ill win 2-3 games then get stuck with complete fucktards that should not even be queing for ranked period.

maybe the mmr forgets you won or something and dosent put you up against much better players? idk

I think it goes from putting you in the lower bottom of the MMR comp for your team, to being the highest.

So when you start: You(shit), Better, Better, Better, Best.
Then the more you play in a given period you're shifted to: Worst, shit, shit, shit, you.

Hence why I'm thinking it "forgets" and continues to put you in the lower bottom of your team composition after a while.

Just really started playing some over the holidays, gotten in about 30 games, slightly over 50% win rate, I think. If this thread has taught me anything, it is that I don't know shit.

I was in the team recruiting channel to see if I could break the pug cycle and hooked up with a guy who, as it turned out, had a Jersey accent and liked to scream into the mic at the whole team. I was like 15-4 with BS but we still lost. The more they did their own shit, the more he yelled, kind of like the guy above although not quite as obnoxious.

edit: WTF is up with all of the disconnectors? Really? 1 minute in and you disconnect?

That's what happens in the early trash tier games, people are just starting off and don't actually give a shit about Low Priority so if they don't want to play anymore they just bail, as you play more that will become less and less prevalent.

Just keep playing and that will stop, you're still playing in the pool of players who are like you, first time players in their first 100 games. Not everyone sticks with it so they quit for many reasons. "Oh fuck this game it sucks/that asshole yelled at me/its not league of legends/I'd rather kill myself" So they just abandon your games because they don't intend to play again soon or ever in some cases. There is an account punishment system in place for chronic leavers that works very good - and once people play regularly/give a shit about being able to queue or chat with teammates people moderate over time. Leavers are rare even in one sided stomps after you have a few hundred games on your account as will everyone else in your game as well.

Sutekh beat me to it.

Watching SingSing lose 4/5 games today gives me hope that my streak will end soonish. If he can't carry games solo, I sure as hell shouldn't be able to either regardless of how well I do... Just frustrating to go 0-8 solo the last couple days.

I THOUGHT IT WAS 0-10?! I offered you a spot in our winning group but you turned me down. Face the shame.

I thought that being 3700+ mmr would afford me a reprieve from griefers and terrible players, but I was wrong. Almost half of the 10 or so games I've played over the last two days have had one or more people that intentionally pick poorly, feed the other team, hide items from the courier, and just generally grief their own team in some fashion. I just don't get it.
I don't think I've seen any douchebaggery like that in the four months I've been playing aside from a handful of times, and I started from the ghetto and have moved my way up. I don't think I've seen an intentional feeder since maybe the first couple of weeks I played, and I don't recall that I've ever seen someone hide items off a courier before.

The mid-tier seems the worst. People with enough knowledge that they think they are good, and have an elitist attitude. THOSE are the worst people to have on your team. I'd take a newb thats learning and wants to hear advice over some shitty mid-tier player who thinks they are the second coming o' Dendi because they watched his stream a couple times.

Agh's Lion aint got shit on the people I had on my teams the past few nights... I had a god damned Agh's GYRO (middle lane obviously), ruin one of mine. It was a brilliant strategy where the other chinese guy on the team (Spectre last pick of course), would ult at the same time as Gyro, to secure a kill anywhere on the map (I guess that was the plan?). Spectre built Vanguard, Heart and Blademail (?!?!). He then sold the Vanguard to pick up a Yasha at minute 50. What a great game was had.
