May I ask... WTF is Starladder? As in, how long does it last? I usually go to dotacinema.com almost everyday and it seems like Starladder is permanently playing.

well that was an interesting ending, speed was loosing basically the whole match, kuro went 1 rapier with aegis and stomped, but furion had pushed in top and they only got to tier 3 mid no tower. so kuro buys another rapier they wait for aegis and it comes down to a base race pretty boy swag defends as best as they can while their furion rats out speed and thrones them before speed could take t4 towers, they just kited that gyro as best they could to stop him from demolishing the base, he was basically two shotting rubick and bane.


I mean this is why I love NP, as sad as it is the game is to destroy their throne and he does it so well.

I would be amazed if he raged as hard at dota as he did sc, not being paid to play the game does wonders.

He doesn't rage at all in Dota, and he's pretty bad at it. Him and his girlfriend used to play LoL together but came over to the master race.

Is anyone actually gaining points in ranked mode on the losing team? In every game I've played a win results in plus ~25 and a lost is minus ~25.

Nope. I think that only happens on very new accounts as it tried to calibrate you.

I just starting playing this game and I find it a ton of fun. I just finished the training and am playing bots to learn the game before I even consider playing a real person. I am pretty sure I suck at this game (I like melee characters but I die a million times getting up to level then when I do I kick ass, BTW fuck Venom!). Oh an what is the purpose of forcing you to pick a character in 30 sec if you are only playing bots?? Can someone point me in the direction of the best resource for information about this game?

You can also access ingame guides for heroes, just pause(default F9) then look up a guide and stuff. For general info yeah that purge guide is pretty good overall, you can also check the dota reddit, on the right side there's a bar with a fuckton of excelent links to a LOT of info. Ignore the posts on the reddit itself though, for the most part it's whining about brazilians, MMR not working, connection issues, memes, shitty plays videos and pro gamers drama.
