Combines attache case style building with auto battler in space, it pushes all the right buttons for me and deserves to be played if you like these types of games. The hook for me was all the different styles, you want to be captain picard and star ship enterprise your way to victor or a crazy french cannibal chef that needs meat for his stew to power up the crew? Straight up nurgle type to Bene Gesserit type where the more crew you have to beat a drum the faster the space worm appears. Wild shit, all fun and there is like 30 of them.

Got a modifier if your ship hull is even on both sides you get bonuses to everything. Got me the easy 10 wins, look at this beautiful bastard.

Yeah, won like 7 doing the tutorial and then went and bought it. Seems great.

Wonkiest ship I've made yet that I just won a run with. I bought that crew thing halfway through and had to rebuild the whole ship to figure out how to use it, lol.

I only do randoms too, but I had the trinket that let me get salvage from defeated ships, so saw several items new to me that run.

I really liked this ship. Was doing really well but just couldn't get enough resource production for longer fights.

Just had my first 10-0 run... never played as this guy before, first time ever learning into rust and stuff and only had like 1 gun most of the run that he was upgrading for me. Thought a bunch of the rust items said it applied it to both of us, but I guess all the resistances from my items help mitigate/prevent it.

I think there should be be more placement bonuses, ie cockpit forward facing, etc. Allow them to be effective otherwise, but incentive to properly build a ship or something.
