Summoner 1 wasn't very good. It was unique at the time because it was a very PCish game on a console but that was about it. Summoner 2 was great though, I really liked that game and it was a shame so many missed out since 1 sucked and they didn't try it.

i'll tell you what i loved about it...
i had to buy 3 games and a controller in order to be eligible to put a ps2 on hold, release day.
pretty sure i got amored core 2, tekken tag and the summoner, the summoner was my third, "well i need to buy something"
it wasn't a bad 3rd person rpg, lore wasn't bad, was pretty good action was, was it atb?, just companions wasn't at bioware/baulders gate level

We're definitely winning, but it's a slow process. A lot of these games we're seeing right now have been development for years. Many of them were in or started development after St. Floyd made his heroic sacrifice.
We won't see the major fruits of our labor for another 3-5 years.

If you believe the reporting on how awful Firewalk was being run, just simple creative criticism would basically get you fired. Sony shutting them down will actually pave the way for them to revive the game under new management or at a minimum start reusing the assets somewhere else.
My stance on the whole gay thing is that I know a few gay people, they are just like everyone else (except more melodramatic lol), and I fully support everyone’s right to hold a parade (Pride). The thing I hate about what I've heard about the game is, you can't really be an asshole to anybody. You're kind'a forced into this, "nice guy" role. I've heard this from a couple'a sources, most of 'em are on youtube, and have been linked.

I used to like NPR in the past for generally being anti-establishment. Had to chuck them in a landfill in 2020 when they spent the whole year "reporting" on the boogeyman of "far-right car attacks on protesters", most of which either didn't happen, or were just a family trying to escape from antifa bashing in their windows or something. There was one in Seattle that turned out to just be some drunk guy who ran over a protester at midnight because she was wearing all black and standing in the middle of a highway. Another was a trucker who couldn't brake fast enough to avoid a bunch of nutcases trying to block a road, and almost hit them.
I don't know of a single goddamn "far-right car attack" reported by NPR that actually happened.
