Seems interesting but their "PVP" setup will just cram a Majority of the players into the "Safe" zones with a small amount of pvp players bitching about not having enough ppl to play with.
Think I will pass until I see a better carebear setup. Seems too PVP-ish for me and will go the way of EVE with the devs creating goodie bags and best materials in "PVP" areas just to lure out the CBs. Shame as I like the idea of the game as a whole until I read their PVP setup. sigh.....

The name is a reference for the game they're pitching and the game that will never actually release.

A game this ambitious will never be successful through a kickstarter. You'd need at least thirty million dollars minimum to do everything they're talking about doing in this game.

I came across this one by accident when searching through projects using Unigine.

Most of these kickstarter teams seem to have completely unrealistic expectations with close to zero practical experience to dial them back to reality. These guys might not be so green.... their selection of Unigine seems rather strange but perhaps they have some good technical reasons and fresh ideas. They have a staff of around 25 of former Ubisoft, Sony, Apple, Aldebaran Robotics employees and they seem to KNOW this is going to fail looking at the kickstarter itself.

Not exactly optimistic but at least honest quote from kickstarter hehe: "It may not work as planned, or as our current testing suggests."

So if they get the funding, they will have some fun spending some kickstarter Euros testing experimental prototypes with Voxels and procedurally generated gameplay and modable AI lol.... before folding. I wonder if any of their employees worked on EQ Next @ Sony? hehe

If they actually come back with some more realistic ideas a second time around it might be interesting to tune in to see what they learn from their experiments.

I dont give to kickstarter campaigns but I always root for developers. It isnt easy making indie games.

I believe there is room for a Rust like survival game in space. Dual-Universe has the bones - now can apply the muscle and flesh.

The voiceover in that first video sounds like someone on Discord just trying to sound like the movie trailer guy just to be funny. 'in a world, where you can build a world and trade worlds, all in one world!'

I'm sick of fucking voxels. Fuck you, fuck voxels and fuck anyone that thinks cubes are the future.

Give me options with crafted parts that blend together, like Kerbal Space Program + SWG town building and not some pixelfag voxel art. Barf.

theres just no way a game like this will come to fruition without being a dissapointment.

These devs/companies need to learn how to sell a well made plausible game idea first that can be later developed into something larger. Selling us the sun moon and stars isnt working anymore.

Someone play the beta and report back. No way this game can do everything they're promising. If it can, I'd be interested.
