The movies were night and day better than the series. I have watched the movies a few times and I am looking forward to the 3rd installment. Until now I had completely forgotten about the series.

I haven't watched this show. I absolutely love the Herbert books and I thought the movies were great. It's unfortunate that I'd probably dislike this show since I'm such a fan of the IP, but I'll probably eventually watch it for the same reason I read a bunch of the shit books that weren't written by Frank.

The shows will piss you off. They ruined the IP and Travis Fimmel was a disappointment. It might not have been his fault as I assume he just did as he was directed to.
