Yeah, pretty much where I'm at.

All my buddies are definitely Dad gamers and not really fans of Soulslikes. And there is no fucking way I'd play this with PUGs.

If you're good can you just carry or is there a penalty like MH series where if people die it just ends?

That's the only way I'd be willing to put up with bad PUGS.

Only ends when all players are dead at the same time and as long as one person's alive they can revive their teammates.

People crying about pugs are the shitters that need to be carried

i found out theres a knight in Limgrave that drops the "Golden Vow" AoW that you can put on any lightweight dagger for a quick clicky buff. No more need to haul around the 16 weight halberd from the Tree Sentinel in the weapon slot

Or you can get the weightless incantation early on in Altus, pairs well with flame grant me strength.

You could.... But I hate fumbling with the spell list during fights when I have 7 memorized. Switching between weapons to get GV is way more reliable and faster for me

4, right click.

It's the same exact keys you just switch to seal instead of dagger. Mouse wheel up is spells mouse wheel down is quick bar, potions and stuff.

And the spell lasts twice as long and gives a bigger bonus.

The only downside to the spell is the 25 fth required but that's just farming for a few levels.
