No QTEs. Platforming and [mostly] melee combat, and a lot of very well-done cutscenes.

Started playing this today. Interesting game, storytelling and characters.

Re: 'platforming': I'd love to see a parody video showing a super mario brothers game where you literally can't fail the platforming. This pointing of the joystick toward the shiny thing and pressing the win button is a boring pattern in these games.

Yeah, the platforming is kind of a joke. The setting, story, and characters are fantastic though. The combat is also pretty good once you get a few upgrades going.

Be sure to play the DLC pack for it, Pigsy's Perfect 10. It is the best side-story DLC/expansion of all time.

I dig the setting, characters, story, etc. but the gameplay and progression is very tedious. I could do without the combat entirely and just do the puzzles. The red balls of XP laying about everywhere are also tedious.
