While the bonuses are small early this server will eventually have huge modifiers to tons of shit.

Well at least the perennial re-rollers who seem to always just do classic to pop have something to play this year. Live exp from the start, going to hit 60 so fast, at least there will be epic to do after that. I expect a lot of box armies, with no truebox from the start, so they can sell gear and early expansions are a lot easier to manage mechanics wise.

It would be an interesting server if not for the launch time frame(9 months until pop). The cadence is perfect imo after all the intial stuff. 8 weeks is just the right time for everything. Just cant go back and do it all over again after just doing it. Dunno how people do it, I need a break of years between TLPs.

October for Luclin, February for PoP, fresh TLP in May, how many bags can I put you down for? Don't forget to buy your Daybreak Cash before launch. It's just less to go wrong on release.

I'm playing release but have no doubt I'll quit within a month or two as usual. However this is likely to be the absolute best server to play later expansions or just to catch up on. There is a chance this server actually does well because the resource hunter was probably my favorite alternate ruleset and just mashing them all together is super casual friendly.

Being able to box without hassle and level up alts/personas easy is just a winning combo for dadquesters

I forgot they're adding the vaniki shit to this server, should be fun to do once people start organizing achievements for those

I joined a guild past curfew and was looking at the list and damned if I dont recognize like 1/3 of the names from Aradune. Not sure if they play all tlps or just everyone is back for this one.

There is a large group that just play most of them(they have to be really shitty rules, late expansions starts or such to avoid) from just classic to pop and they do it over and over. How they dont burn out I dont know. I figure the majority of TLP players haven't seen past the 70s at most(and the 70s kill a lot of it on their own, especially PoR). The post TSS stuff is quite fun, sure there are some duds, but its more fun to do things you havent done for the 10th time. I figure for them its just all about nostalgia or possibly OW stuff(which ceases existing pretty early in EQ life).

There's a reason they timed this TLP to basically end pop right as a new TLP would launch next year. Imo this server would be even more interesting if they just did the 8 weeks from the start, so odd they chose some random ass time for the first 2 and then switch to the voted upon release cadence. I didnt vote or look, so could also possibly just be the skewed the options to make it this way too.

I am sure if I looked at people going to play on this new one, I would recognize quite a bit of names. TLP audience is pretty small, you rarely get someone that never played one or is new to EQ.

Also not sure why they decide to stick a random TSS start one 6 months later, maybe just to sell more bags? Can make 2 different bundles now? Will be curious too if legends actually ends up being something and drags people away. Not that they care, they get paid either way.
