I logged back into eve a few years back after not really playing since 2012...I think I played a few weeks in 2014, but not really.
So we're talking like over a decade away from the game, and I was completely lost. Everyone can basically build their own stations now even in low sec? So like nobody is in NPC stations everyone lives in their own structures, forget what they're called.
I picked up and moved everything out of aeschee, the low sec hub the alliance I used to be in lived in. Planned to move back to Y9G in Syndicate, which is where I lived from 2006-2011 before my corp split up. had like 6 carriers/dreadnaughts to move so it took much planning and many jumps with this jump fatigue or whatever shit its called. Got everything moved to 1 low sec jump out from Y9G, head over to do some scouting and see who lives there now and its basically deserted. no traffic at all, anyone who is in system is living in their fucking player station thing, but rarely see anyone in the whole constellation.
anyway was just overwhelmed, no buddies to go back to, no corp or alliance, not going to 1 man show it and take over NPC null when there's fucking nobody there just a bunch of structures i'd have chew through and get dropped on while doing it. From the looks of things everyone has like 9 titan alts each they can drop on you while your killing towers and shit.
The one thing I did do in my brief stint back was buy a bunch of those NPC medals and got my sec clearance up on all my characters from -10.00 to 0. that made moving so much fucking easier lol
