I dont NORMALLY like to jump on the trannybashing train, but... when you're talking about someone who absolutely MUST be different to the point that is trans, I don't think it is mentally possible to just be normal in any context. This thing was never going to follow someone else's script. A big fear I have is that it'll actually be fucking awesome when it launches and they'll strike gold and then promptly add bullshit after bullshit to it because they're allergic to normality.

A lot of people hated Secrets during Quarm in the Kunark days because they wouldn't stop creating stupid shit. I remember my guild absolutely talking shit in voice chat about Secrets when we were doing beta testing of some garbage custom VP raids and Secrets would join our raid and voice chat and act retarded. People started leaving Quarm out of lack of interest soon after. To be honest even the increase in loot during Kunark raids killed the server because we were full BiS in like 2 months. All Secrets had to do was sit back and do nothing and keep it as old school as possible.

With everything they've shown... I don't think you have anything to fear about it being fucking awesome.

From everything they've shown it looks like it's gonna be shit. If it's not shit the odds of it being fucking awesome and striking gold are practically 0. With what they've shown I'd say at best it could be okay.

I mean they knew it was shit when they were explaining the multi-classing like he flat out knew it was going to make people unhappy which is why he didn't even really wanna explain it clearly.

But then again they might strike gold because Everquest players are fucking retarded, look at how much people spend on the same regurgitated TLP servers every year. OH BOY THIS YEAR THE MOBS DROP RANDOM LOOT?! No mob loot tables have just been swapped around it's not actually random loot. OH BOY ZONES HAVE RANDOM THINGS HAPPENING IN THEM?! Yeah you can get additional coin drops in Dawnshroud peaks!

I honestly don't understand why this can't be two servers. Release a THJ Clone, and a Secrets Slop Server - let everyone play what they want.
