So running off memory here, SOD is a continuation of the GoD/OOW plotline. The muramites tried a staging point in Taelosia (GoD) but players came in and whipped OMM's boy Tunat who was leadin things there. Then we traveled to Kuua in omens of war and whipped OMM himself. His boss was Brekt, who tried fucking with norrath's timeline in SoD to finally win but we time travel with old Zebby boy to fix their meddling then whip Brekt's ass in a very anti climactic ending.

Or something like that.

I feel like if them adding a tint to skin in a 27 year old game that only didn't have skin tints because it was 27 years old makes you super mad maybe you need to reevaluate your life.

If this shit sucks fine, lets bash them but honest to god the angry old men shitting up this thread with teeth gnashing about them maybe adding black humans to everquest and how that somehow ruins the lore just makes it impossible to even discuss the games news.

Also, it was literally just some random guy posting in a discord suggestions section. No dev has even said they will do it.

Ah here we go again.

I suggested races that would be fine to get new skin colors. I stated 2 races that shouldn't. Fucking High Elves and Dark Elves because it's the fucking lore. They said they're changing the lore well fine fucking change a bunch of the lore, have it to where The Greenmist never happened so shissar are playable and not on the fuckin moon. Let's have it to where bloody Kithcor never happened because having the zone turn level 50 at night makes it a pain in the ass to travel through.

But hey apparently wanting to keep High Elves fair skinned and Dark Elves dark skinned makes me a racist that only wants whites in my game. quit trying to make it sound like something it's fucking not.

Also here is what Secrets said about the lore.

And De-makes of zones makes perfect sense because if you did want to use the layout of say the DoDH zones the classic characters really don't fit into that art style well. Go play on live with a classic model in any post velious zone, you just look out of place.

what was that first person shoot that cost 300 million that never got played because the whole dev team was more concerned with gender bending….

And you're probably thinking Concord but that was do to piss poor marketing and releasing a game with a $40 price tag into a genre that's overwhelming flooded with free to play clones.
