You can just play the game like any other Server. You have all the normal stuff. If you want some weird Ogre Paladin combo, you have to jump through hoops or pay for it.
No idea when you hit a wall of inconvenience or even if, but I can see problems for altaholics, hoarders and min maxers in the future. And then the retarded monetization will kick in.

The irony is, the RMT free version of doing many of these unlocks is pretty fucking trivial. Hell, there was a YouTuber that made a vid in Beta specifically highlighting how to unlock the Ogre Paladin in less than 1 hour of time investment.
I know there are a few other unlocks that are as simple as buying stacks of vendor sold items and handing them in.

At character select you choose your race, a class that can be played by that race, and a secondary class (can be any class).
Level 10, 3rd class unlocks (can be any class)
You can change any of this besides your race on the way to level 11, but your primary is still class restricted to your race. When you ding 11, you're required to lock that primary to continue on.
So, if your question is can an ogre be a wizard with no hoops or restrictions the answer is yes. If your question is can you be an ogre wiz/dru/pal right out the gate, the answer is no. This can be accomplished by doing the racial quest to unlock that race.
So taking the quests out of the equation, what it really boils down to is if you are really undecided what you want to play class wise then select something like human that can roll basically any class. If you sort of have an idea, pick a race thats open to most classes you assume you'd make as your core.
After 11, you can change your secondary classes at anytime but it will adjust to your lowest level'd class of your trio. After dinging 50, you're given a class token to change your base class.

At level 46+ you can get a quest to unlock Agnostic for free in-game. Go to Oasis, get See Invis, and talk to the invis guy at the docks. He will give a quest to kill Inny and CT (d0 is fine). Unlocks Agnostic, which makes doing quests like Kerran Isle easy (swap race too if needed).

You can't primary both an ogre and a paladin without unlocking an additional race. It costs like 28pp and you have to do it before selecting your third class/dinging 11, but it is possible. Your primary class/deity is really the only noob trap decision since you can't change it until 50 or without shelling out an additional $15. Ideally you pick something that easily slots into a build that can quickly clear sky and pairs well with other trios.

Cast malo or level it up. I just got the final slow and got it to +3 I think, really nice -MR modifier. Makes a big difference

Yeah, but its a mid-30's spell I'll level past quickly. Doesn't seem worth it to level?
I'm on Qeynos server if we happen to have a guild. Character name is Aonea; currently running Pal/Shm/Dru. Still haven't decided what my 3rd class will be once i level Druid enough to get the gate spells.
