He left the cord and probably won't come back. Which is too bad.

It's a rarespawn for the Shaman 1.5. The drop isn't flagged quest so it's randomized. I've been told it's randomized with the instances off DS like watering hole, not sure if true though. Point being the both have like dozens of options to farm the thing from and don't really need to fight over it.

Covid is like a sub 1% mortality rate, if you're gonna call for fire and brimstone you could at least pick something which has a high chance of death. Aids and cancer are the usual gotos when making similar nerd rants. Covid just sounds lame here.

Some of us played way back when. Camps were respected and therefore camps were monopolized. You would have guilds just shuffle players in and never ever leave. It actually seemed particularly awful on the earliest tlps as boxing became more and more common, so things like a raid call wouldn't fully remove the monopoly. Even as cs stopped protecting camps, players for a long time did, and it persisted even into the era of pickzones - you had people literally locking down all the spawns across a set of picks.

People love to whine about the disrespect of camp stealing or dps racing, but the alternative was simply way worse and a lot of us who played this game too much and for too long can remember that time. With how much modern eq autism has exploited every last loophole and forced so much adjustment, I can't even fathom how terrible camp ownership would be these days. You would never EVER touch certain drops unless you paid krono (or random loot server). For sure.


This motherfucker tryna hustle multiple spots himself needs to calm his tits. DS is like 40s mobs, one level 70 claiming various ph spots is bullshit. Imagine a level 70 somewhere like lguk or solb "/ooc every named is camped" fuck that noise.

Which is why I chose RZ as the best experience. This "guild owned camp" without pvp recourse shit is a joke.

Yeah I played on tallon until about loy with the stromm server. Camp monopolies were a huge deal and a ton of dogshit. I probably respect camps easily 9 times out of 10 but I absolutely need the ability to tell some "dude we've been here farming for 11 hours this is our camp" assholes to get fucked.

We'd just roll some Darkenbane or Peacebreaker troopers in and shut that shit down
