In this thread we will assign starting stats to races in a manner that we believe would accurately depict them if they were included in the game EverQuest. For reference I have included the racial stats for each race in the original EverQuest:

I will start with these:

Japanese:
STR - 65
STA - 65
AGI - 75
DEX - 90
WIS - 85
INT - 80
CHA - 50


Mexican:
STR - 70
STA - 85
AGI - 80
DEX - 75
WIS - 70
INT - 65
CHA - 65
Racial innate bonus: Sneak and hide at level 1

I think it's appropriate. They have low faction with Americans because of stealing our jobs and raping our women, but overall Mexican culture is pretty well enjoyed.

Point of clarification. How should we factor in the bad odor of the smellier races? A CHA penalty or do we need a new stat?

I think we should also include the amount of extra points available to each race to adjust the base stats. This would reflect the inherent variability within each race. EX: whites have high variability so they have maybe 15-20 extra points to allocate. Chinese get like 2 extra points.

50 CHA is too high or at least is the cap. Only jews in the entertainment industry(bards, magicians, enchanters) can exceed the cap.

Fair enough. I forgot CHA was usually low for most races in EQ (thought 50 was low) Jews have like a 30. Everyone hates them. Only reason people in professions you said "like" them is due to their shekels
