I'm highly anticipating this. GTA5 is the first one in the series that I enjoyed, and I liked it a lot. I've been frustrated at the lack of a new campaign or even a hint of their next project. I suppose this helps explain what the hold up is.

sounds more like one dude is pissed the other guys swindled him and is trying to get back. using the amazon engine as a start isn't that promising, considering there are zero big games made with it right now i think.

Rockstar is great because they spend years and years tweaking their games before release (polish, polish, polish) and let one guy have a strong vision and hundreds of people to execute that. One pissed off guy using probably his own money doesn't seem like its gonna really match that.
