thanks!I dont really understand how the crit meter works, but the sprint is suppose to be similar to skyrim using the endurance/action bar to fuel it and VATS.
Also gotta say the Goodsprings photos are awesome!
With that tiny picture you look kinda like (younger not current) Corey Feldman....thanks!
Gamefaqs used to be the shit :/ And if you're really old you might remember Avault and the old (92-95) Origin BBS which made FoH look tame. Thems were the days.Gamefaqs is dying but usually has gameplay focused discussion. .
I miss Makata! This is a gaming forum, not neogaf. We aren't fucking casuals. We minmax everything. If I was playing fucking candy crush, I'd still be trying to minmax the shit out of it.
I don't think EW would dismember. It was either a pile of ash or green goo depending on laser vs. plasma. So I'm not a fan of gore in video games... or really media at all. I can handle it, but I just always find it a bit lame.
I never played the most recent Fallout games, and I'm wondering how energy weapons behave. If I stick to energy weapons will enemies just get 'disintegrated', or will I still see their limbs fly off and shit? Will bloody mess add guts to energy weapon kills, or just more pewpew sparklies? Thanks
Only on a crit hit kill. Normal kills have the same chance for limbs to pop off as other weapons.I don't think EW would dismember. It was either a pile of ash or green goo depending on laser vs. plasma.

Leaked gameplay video. Yes, it's on Pornhub... probably trying to hide from the DMCA, I've watched through it and it's not a joke though I would term it NSFW because of all the pornhub links/pics all over the page.
So enlighten me. What about over the top, silly gore is critical to the game? How would adding a simple toggle betray the experience to a degree that I may as well not even play it? Even if I like every single other system?Pretty much.
I just don't get how people don't get Fallout is not meant to be realistic. It is supposed to be over the top, the gore is supposed to be unrealistic and exaggerated, basically every aspect of the universe is like thatfor a reasonand complaining about how its too gory or too unrealistic in its portrayal of gore is basically saying "I don't like Fallout". If you don't like it, don't play it.
The universe is constructed the way it is constructedon purpose.
Fallout vision statement - The Fallout wiki - Fallout: New Vegas and more - WikiaMega levels of violence. (you had better give us that Mature rating right now)
You can shoot everything in this game: people, animals, buildings and walls. You can make "called shots" on people, so you can aim for their eyes or their groin. Called shots can do more damage, knock the target unconscious or have other effects. When people die, they don't just die - they get cut in half, they melt into a pile of goo, explode like a blood sausage, or several different ways - depending on the weapon you use. When I use my rocket launcher on some poor defenseless townsperson, he'll know (and his neighbors will be cleaning up the blood for weeks!)
***This is the wasteland. Life is cheap and violence is all that there is. We are going to grab the player's guts and remind him of this.***[2]

There will always be multiple solutions. No one style of play will be perfect.

There is a sense of urgency.
It's open ended.

Just enough GURPS material to make the GURPSers happy. The game comes first.[3]
The Team is Motivated The team is motivated (Tim has incriminating documents on all of us)
This is extremely important. Team GURPS is excited to be making this game. Everyone on the team is happy with what they are doing. We want to do this. We care about this game and we will make it cool.[2]
