Any way you choose sounds like an extra pain in the ass layer right now. Which makes it rather funny.
Yep. I'm glad I remembered what a disaster Skyrim's major "upgrades" were and got the game setup before I was ready to play it. I don't think it's TOO bad right now since it's just an extra step to run a downgrade tool plus a few places where you have to be sure you're grabbing the specific version of a mod he tells you to and not the latest, but for a couple weeks after Bethesda shit out this turd of an update it was just about unplayable with anything but the most basic mods. And like I said above, it really hurt the release of Fallout London which was just days away but now it's more like months again.

Fallout: London out today

Forgot to grab FO4 on PC last time it was on sale, so I guess I'll be keeping an eye out if this gets good reviews

Oh nice, they actually ended up going with the "downgraded" (un-fucked would be a better word for it) game version instead of trying to make it compatible with the retard patch.

This shit is pretty wild for being free. Don't think I've played any total conversion mods like Enderal (although I've heard good things) before this. Still really early in the game, but surprisingly haven't ran into any game/quest-breaking bugs. Crashes probably once every hour or two, but supposedly there's a stability patch on the way. Probably best to put the autosave interval at 5m.

F4 was dumb and F76 was atrocious. Starfield was retarded. I'm not buying anything else from this shit show of a company. They must be all in on DEI hires. They're terrible.

Starfield was garbage for sure

but I really enjoyed Fallout 4, and really loved building settlements.

76 was terrible at release but it gets very good reviews these days. I personally don’t know how it is but after the shit show they pulled with collectors editions at release, it really hurt my opinion of them as a company.

They've put a lot of effort into FO76 make up for the lackluster launch. They recently just added a new map extension where you can visit Ohio now.

Yeah I mentioned on here many times me and the kid played this for a few months a year or so after launch. We put in about 150 hours and it was good for what it was. Fallout experience online you can play with others. At the time there was really no end game or anything like that so it just kinda stopped being fun. But for that initial 100+ hours it was a blast. Kind of played like an actial mmo. Quests that took you from place to place..etc..

Quick, tell them about your battleship or star cruiser or space dogging or whatever base you built in FO4.

FO76 got the No Man's Sky treatment post launch from what I've heard. Never played it and probably never will but I'm glad they put the effort into it.

NMS effort, but they monetize it. Hello Games will forever be in my good books for what they have done to the game over the apst decade for free.
