It's weird you get battery drs for 1 lap if you are within 1 second of the person ahead of you when a lap starts.

That’s really cool. I’m doing ok financially, but I don’t know if I’m doing so ok I can go to Austin and see my first race this year. Would be cool!

I was watching while waiting on a slow download but it was mostly flashbacks to 2025 with the session delayed. I figured it had started raining or something, but it was a crash. Rider died. :emoji_cry:

Not sure who it was.

Austin is a great one for a first race, and still near my top from the 4 tracks I've been to. From almost everywhere you can see multiple corners on the track, its relatively affordable compared to the other US races, and the food scene in Austin is absolutely ridiculous. Almost every meal I ate at the 2 races I've been to there (from Yelp ratings of all things) was one of the best I've had, with the exception of the taco place we picked one evening the second year.

Great onboard no commentary from Max chasing a GT3 porsche. Just great clean racing by both, both pushing very hard.

The four hours or so of the race I watched was very enjoyable to watch. How you handle navigating all the traffic is just as important as being fast.

That was great. I feel bad for that guy in the blue Porsche at 7:10. I wonder how fast they were going. It looks like he was headed straight into the wall.

wtf. rip.

Kyle Busch, a generational talent who rose to become a two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion and one of the sport’s greatest drivers, died Thursday. He was 41.
Busch’s death, which was announced by the Busch family, NASCAR and Richard Childress Racing, marked a sudden, staggering blow to the motorsports community. His team had indicated earlier Thursday that Busch had been hospitalized with a severe illness.
