looks like a fun mix of national treasure and uncharted, since it'll stream at home on release day easy watch. doubt it'll be a banger but if its at least as good as Mummy 2 (no hopes of the first one) it'll be fine

Looks fun, trailer has a little bit too much h2h combat for me...but.. whatever

They find it, but keeping with modern retelling and modernist points of view, there is nothing special about the fountain, while it is "real" and they did find it- it is some convoluted word salad about the journey, about how it is some feel good goal that all these cultures share and we all should get along bla bla

They should find it, but discover Nestle got there first and built a water bottling plant on top of it and destroyed its powers in the process

The only thing that was memorable about that trailer was the awesome Shelby Cobra. That's my dream car, and I'd be more than happy to do a build of a kit car to have one. Everything else in the trailer I don't even remember and I just watched it.

Watched it this morning while I was doing some work Ive been putting off.

First half of the movie is basically the introduction to everyone. Its not really fun.. or exciting, but it eventually got its legs somewhere in that half way through area. An "okay" mix between national treasure and the artifact collection and exploration of "the mummy" original. Theyre shooting for the cheeky atmosphere and witty nature of the Mummy and National Treasure but its just not landing. Movies not terrible, but there would have been zero fucking inclination for me to see this in theatres.

Fountain is the fountain. Egypt is of course where they end up. The most recent news about the pyramids extending much deeper into the earth is used to explain the fountains location. Music / sound is used to hover heavy objects. The concepts, theories, etc. that are at the top of the iceberg in tin foil hat world are filling this movie to the top and... Im ok with that.

Apple marketing strikes again. Lets spend $180 million to make this movie but spend 5 bucks making people aware of it.

Will give it a go on the weekend with the wife, ratings aside the genre is one of my favorites.

Fun movie in the genre, nothing really terrible in my opinion but nothing memorable either.

I don’t regret watching it but most likely will never rewatch it.
