As much as 2 gets praise and as much "fun" as 4 is... 6 really is not only an awesome StarTrek but an awesome film and musical score all in their own right.
the battle, while not as long or as "like a real naval battle" as ST2, it is great.
The opening credits where insane, and being in the theater, during premier, no one knew what was coming - the music, the visual boom - ohhhhhh my
and the poster was lit

6 is by far the best of the original movies. I also feel like an idiot since it took Christopher Plummer's death to realize that Chang and Captain von Trapp from the Sound of Music were the same dude...
