As you may have noticed, the world is not always a super nice place to be a fat person. There's an entire body of research devoted to weight stigma, and the fact that it helps exactly no one. It doesn't motivate people to lose weight, and it certainly doesn't help anyone's health.

After I became aware of this startling fact, I chose to dedicate my career to helping fat people. For the past four years, I've worked as a diet tech to teach normal eating to people of all sizes, using the Health at Every Size approach.

Now I want to do more.
