In 1983, during the golden age of pop, a 20-year-old Ricky Gervais had a very different career as the lead singer of a pop band called Seona Dancing. That year, they were signed to a label, but success was short-lived, and after lackluster sales, the band split. Ricky then went on to build a successful career as a comedian instead.
RIP Seona Dancing, 1982–1984.
