Its funny, because the reality was the exact opposite.This is the stupidest fucking thing I've ever read. It's written entirely on the assumption that we would be the one firing the first shot. You won't prevent a nuclear war in this manner is someone else fires first, you dumb fuck. And not only that, after someone else fires the shot, you're frantically hacking this innocent person to bits to get the codes to shoot back. As if you're gonna say "Golly gee, George, sorry about this but...."
Locks were installed to prevent launch without having the correct code.
The code was set to 00000000 by SAC, so they didn't have to worry about the code, and could launch without the president.
Launch code for US nukes was 00000000 for 20 years

I sat a couple of tables away from her a few years back at a fundraiser dinner. She is absolutely stunning up close. Her skin simply glows like no woman's I've ever seen before. Dunno what she does to glow like that, but my god she looked great. Weird thing too, I don't think she spoke the entire dinner to anyone at her table. Mere humans.
