The eventually-unsealed divorce records showed that Jack Ryan was trying to force her into sex acts in public sex clubs, etc, and that was her motive for divorce. Getting divorced wouldn't have forced him out of office on it's own; it was why they got divorced, and "marriage is hard sometimes" isn't a shocker.

I believe you can still find the statements online, they're a good use-case for the word "lascivious".
