LAPD Gets a Lamborghini Gallardo

New to the land of high-speed pursuits is the Los Angeles Police Department’s latest addition to its fleet of vehicles: a Lamborghini Gallardo, decked out in the department’s traditional black-and-white paint and “To Protect and to Serve” written on its sides.

But don’t count on seeing the Lamborghini flying down the 101 Freeway in hot pursuit or offering criminals a luxurious ride back to the police station. Nathalie and Travis Marg of Light Source 1, Inc. donated the use of their Lamborghini to serve charitable events for the LAPD Air Support Team, the department said.
