White willow bark can function similar to aspirin. Turpentine comes from pine oil. I'm not sure I can think of anything else.

Anyone (especially in the UK) that read the spiderman / Zoid comics from the 80s? Lived in Scotland for a few years due to dad being stationed in Thurso and got to read them. The Zoid comics were some dark as hell stuff. Wonder if they're still lurking around at my parents house in some random box.

I had a number of them including the "duck" and mixed and matched a ton. Not to mention blended in some parts and pieces from other things I had around. Ohhh shit. I know very little about any of the 80s era Zoids, except there's some weird stuff in there (including that weird Spiderman cross-over overseas). I never owned any of the OJR release stuff, but goddamn did I have a ton of the 90s/00s NJR goodies. Goddamn, one of the best Christmas's ever was my mom getting all 7 seasons of Star Trek: TNG on DVD and me getting a pile of Zoids to build while we marathoned that shit, including my giant ass Ultrasaurus. Here's a portion of my old collection that I sold like a fucking dumbass (didn't have any room to store them when my parents sold their house ). I did not get nearly enough money for this shit. Also, here's some of my current HMM collection from Kotobukiya (posted some in the shit I just bought thread).
They've also done a collab with Ban Dai and made a fucking dope ass Liger Zero Chogokin figure that I've got on pre-order in August. They're coming out with all 3 CAS sets for it as well that I can't fucking wait for (the Jager looks fucking sick). Also got an HMM Konig Wolf pre-ordered for September that I've been fucking waiting on; one of my favorites. At some point I need to go back and panel line my Berserk Fuhrer, 'cause it benefits so much from it. Also in progress on my Shadow Fox that I'm trying some detailing out on for the first time.

I still have my gachapon collection, which isn’t too bad, from my time in Japan, as well my copies of Zoids Saga I and II which I keep my original GBA around to play.
You can still find folks selling those original 80s Zoids, though. Mostly if you troll through Mercari JP, or Mandarake you can find all sorts of cool old shit.
Forgot I still have one 00s era model new in the box that I never got around to building but planned to sell. If anyone wants to enjoy a build, hit me up.
