Meanwhile, in Dallas, my wife is hiring people for "Data Entry" type jobs with nearly 0 experience for 60k a year. They are making the positions only open to local workers and are debating making it work from home with face appearances every so often alongside web-meetings.

60k a year, to potentially work from home.

If you are unemployed and WANT a job in this market, this is on you.

While I feel sympathy for these people, the reality is that at least 50% of these people wouldn't show up to a job after the 3rd week or their drug test would show regular usage of more than weed, because even her company doesn't care about weed.

These sign holding drains on society are everywhere now. They always have brand new sneakers like the fakes in the above pic too, probably treat it like a lazy man's 9-5 job. I'm a chill driver, and my morning drive is almost zen like, but I instantly raged after missing a green light cycle while the idiot in front of me scrounged for cash for one of these. BLARGH.

would be willing to bet the hourly wages for panhandling are higher than alot of jobs that require degrees, its just the frequent 4 hour heroin breaks that cut into the net gain
