I have had microwave bacon, oven bacon, and cast iron skillet bacon. I now cook my bacon in a cast iron skillet because bacon requires a debt of pain be paid, from the grease splatter, for such violent delights.

Really though, I find the stove top the easiest to clean up to an acceptable level. The oven gets all the grease baked on, then ruins the window if you don't scrub it off, and the next person that heats up stuff in the microwave usually has FUCKING BACON GREASE ALL OVER EVERYTHING...GOD DAMN IT MARSHA, CLEAN UP YOUR SHIT!!!!!
