Its better (worse?) than that- That boulder? Its one of two in that landslide. The smaller one. The other is hidden right up against the back wall of the house.

And if you look on the right in the second pic you can see an even bigger boulder from an earlier landslide years ago. I'm thinking the owners' insurance rates just went up...
Also, a drone video of the place-
It looks like the second boulder hit an extra-soft spot on that last bounce and really dug in deep which robbed it of its momentum, or I think it would have got right through the house and the family would probably be dead.
