I was so focused on the missing crown molding, I didn't notice the bed appears to be a death trap. Hope they anchored that to the wall.

I was thinking the same. If it's anchored to the wall it might not tip over, but given that I'm certain those joints only use screws and not glue or mechanical joinery I suspect weight on the outside top corner would cause enough leveraged twisting in the structure to be dangerous.

why is the toilet paper exposed?
sure theres a splash guard, but a horrible lesson i learned quick when i was in one of these in korea is that you keep your tp outside, i guess it helps that there is a shower wand, so you can direct the water away from the tp.
