I was a "husky" boy, my cinder block broke...

The very first bike my older brother and I ever got, my Uncle bought the off brand Walmart BMX bikes for us... but he bought the girl one's because they were on clearance because no one would buy them. He then spray painted the bikes black and red, because good ole boys. Eventually, after much abuse and many wrecks, we started realizing the truth as the paint started getting scratched and scraped off and then never road them again. The amount of shit we would have gotten for riding girl bikes in that day and age, never would have recovered, literally rest of our lives ruined lol. The first time I ever rode the bike, my Uncle put me at the top of a massive steep hill, and forgot to tell me the bike didn't have brakes. Most fun 30 seconds of my life, right until I ran right into a mailbox at 40 miles an hour. How I ever made it through my child hood without becoming a vegetable is a legitimate marvel to me.

I thought I was a winner.
