I use electrical tape and tape the screw to the driver. Soon as the screw is started , pull out the driver. If the tape doesn't come out, grab it with tweezers. Learned it doing electrical construction work.inside the case is worse, i make sure to have at least a magnetized bit before i screw in a video card, and even then i'll drop the screw and somehow it's in the maze of metal
gotta pick that shit up and shake shake shake until you don't hear it rattle no more, cuz that could ground your shit and youre fucked
they make it extra delicious now by having you screw in not only a m2x2.5mm screw for the nvme but also the hex standoff for it.
building pc's for over 30years and this is honestly the worst case building "solution"
