Knowing how relatively wealthy people "think" in terms of whats politically correct and virtue signaling - especially after clear examples in the past couple of months - I dont think its far fetched to believe that the people that played classical music at the royal balls in the evenings / night in prominent countries like France, didnt do it to dissuade certain foreign dignitaries from staying too long or making an appearance at all at those events. Classical is generally an acquired taste, and its a far cry from the drums of the southern hemisphere.
Looking back at old paintings of the era.. there is a very strong lack of "diversity." But who am I to know whether or not "Jamari" didnt get down and jiggy with some Mozart.
