I just visited this place for the very first time. I don't get it, the hype is 100% bullshit... It's a fucking Walmart sized gas station but has more customers than Disney World to buy...gas station food...

I agree with the overcrowding though, holy hell. Stopped there on a weekend, my little girl had to pee. Boys didn't have a line, but girls was wrapped around worse than a brand new ride at Disneyworld.

Went to the one near me during first few weeks of opening. Was crazy the amount of crap people were buying. Full carts of junk, clothes, home decorations, food, grills, all the shit they sell. Listening to totals as I was getting closer to the cashier, $200+, $300+, and even more. Everyone was sucked into the hype for sure.
Got a few things influencers said you have to try, and was very underwhelmed. BBQ was mediocre 5-6 rating at best, and was main reason I went, really wanted it to be better.

I cannot wrap my head around the bucees craze, stopped at one of the new ones a few years ago on a road trip and it was a shitshow. Pumps all packed with people 2-3 deep, and the inside of the place was nuts, nothing in there could be worth fighting those crowds. Bathrooms were clean at least. I'll pay a few pennies a gallon more and stop someplace else thank you.
