I don't particularly care for tattoos, but whatever. Do your thing, I just won't. I really don't understand people who get tattoos in the red zones.

I have one tattoo on my left arm/shoulder. Which according to this chart stays largely in the blue and maybe a half inch of the tat goes into the yellow at the curve of the shoulder.
I'm not joking, and I'm sure I'm not the only one but I didn't feel it...at all. There was ZERO pain. I was talking with the artist and then he says "Done". I was shocked, it's not a small tattoo but it is simple compared to most tattoos. It probably took an hour and change. Never felt it. These are only 2 pics of my tattoo I have.

Like I said, it's simple. It's a mix of the Punisher skull and Cthulhu. Says "Dead but Dreaming".

I spent three years debating on getting my first tattoo. Then when I was in Vegas I ended up winning nearly $4,000 off of a $50 slot pull so I took it as a sign to get my tattoo done.
The first piece took 7 hours and then I went back two months later and did two more 7 hour sessions on consecutive days to get it finished. Each color and design represents something extremely personal to me. For example, the purple in the sunset, it was my brothers favorite color and he committed suicide back in the late 90s. The cabin in the tattoo is from my family's homestead and comes from a painting done in the 60s by a family member. It surprisingly didn't hurt and in some cases felt good as well as therapeutic.

I've got 3 in red zones. This seems accurate.

About to go get my first . . . well, second, but I don't think sticking my Dad's fountain pen into my hand as a toddler counts . . .

Getting this done as an inner forearm design - the 'background' pattern will fade to skin . .the sun will be close to the wrrist
Will all fade out at the edges.

its the centre portion of a painting he did - It's called 'Bushfire Moon' - he was a celebrated aussie artist, even having some hanging in Parliament house in Canberra, as well as several in the Reserve Bank of Australia gallery.

He died 10 years ago of a massive brain tumour - Glioblastoma is a bitch kids.... see your doctor if you live in a country with good healthcare - Yanks, you are pretty much on your own - maybe learn about home-trepanation?
