Also, goddamn! but then unopened toys always seem a bit sad to me...
We would have vicious games of thumping knuckles, but I couldn't find any pics so maybe we were the only ones? We even had the hybrid where you tried to break pencils with thumps. Dunno what kids today do, but you learned some pain tolerance if you wanted to be a competitive kid in the 80s.

lol we did the same shit and honestly I was going to include it in my post but I couldn’t find a pic of “thump” or “finger flick” with a quick GIS.
This game was the best imo. Takes no consumable, you’re not gonna bleed. But my god it could hurt like a motherfucker; even while being the flicker.
Very satisfying when you can target the same spot and really make em hurt. The flush nail on nail flick was always hilarious cause both parties are left squirming.

We always played with closed fist, so more games probably ended because the thumper hit a knuckle and quit than because the thumpee gave up. I was a stubborn little shit though, so I practiced like it was a sport lol. Laser accuracy on the outside edge of the pinky was where it was at!
