I worked there for a few years, soldering, assembling, and later, actually coding - some great times, but left there in about '87
If you think that no one cares about e 'Bee, you just need to re-watch Kung-Fury and look closely . . . . Hackerman is rocking a Microbee 128k Premium . . and I pretty much soldered the components on on every one of those fuckers . . . . so many lost fingerprints and lung tissues . .

Mom was a chain smoker - it was nothing to see her light her next ciggy with the remnant of her current one. Anything that came from her house reeked of cigarette smoke. When/if we got anything from her I would put it in my garage and let it air out for days before I could stand to bring it in the house. When she came down with stage 4 lung cancer none of us were surprised, that included her.Airport lounges, one is smoking, the other isn't.
Anyhow to the point. This is an ostrich egg my mom decorated when I was a kid, think it was around the early 80's. The egg was white, the fabric was a rich burgundy, the beads were white as well. But time and lots of smoking has dulled it to the point where it's in the state of this pic. My mom died in 2020 and it STILL smells of cigarettes. People who smoke are gigantic fucking idiots!
