I know this is true. And it pisses me off to the point where I'll never buy BMW again. My motorcycle is BMW and to remove the rear wheel you need a special BMW tool. The tool is somewhere in the neighbourhood of $284. I made one out of a $4 socket. It's exactly the same thing, it just doesn't say BMW on it. Though I wrote it on in marker and sent a picture of it to their customer service.

unrelated.

I had a 1988 Chrysler Conquest TSI, which was really just a rebadged Mitsubishi Starion. When I moved from bugfuck NC to Charlotte, my car got broke into and the stereo was stolen. In the process they destroyed my center console and everything around the shifter. I went to the chrysler place and priced out the parts, then went to the Mitsubishi place and did the same. Part #'s were the same just one started with a C (for Chrysler) and M (for Mitsubishi) The Mitsu parts were $500 cheaper. When I went to order them the guy in the parts department saw I had a conquest and told me they would not fit.
But of course they did, it's the same fucking car. Pics very much related.

I drive an Audi SQ5. Needed sway bar end links . . . $399 each from Audi Australia, or $80/pair from Porsche Australia .(To fit a Porsche Macan S) . .

Badge engineering has been around a long time, and you have to shop around for parts from the 'other' manufacturer

Thats a Gee Bee. It was in The Rocketeer too.

The Gee Bee Z replica owned by Kermit Weeks/Fantasy of Flight is not the one used in the Rocketeer movie. The one that Kermit Weeks/Fantasy of Flight owns was built by Kevin Kimball and Jeff Eicher in the 90's and was test flown by Delmar Benjamin for the first time in 1996 (he would go on to complete 12 flights in all, which Delmar claims to be the most fun he has ever had flying an airplane, and that the Gee Bee Z is his favorite aircraft of all time) - I believe Kermit Weeks flew it 2 or 3 times shortly after he got it. It is a far more accurate/true to the original reproduction than the replica built by Bill Turner and used in the Rocketeer movie - that one is on display at the Museum of Flight in Seattle.

That's not what Capitalism is at all. That's what Communists want you to think Capitalism is so that you will give up your rights and willingly agree to allow the State to own everything.
Capitalism is the belief that everyone, working in their *own* best interests, will benefit everyone.
