Male fertility declines far slower than female fertility, and a male looking for a mate, regardless of his age, should want to maximize his number of possible offspring by prioritizing more fertile (aka younger) females.
Note however that male sperm quality decreases with age as well (not nearly as quickly as female egg quality, as a woman's eggs are actually produced before she herself is born), with noticeably increased chances of autism, down's syndrome, and mental illnesses as the male ages, independent of the age of the female.
