The actual houses don't look too bad, they seem sizable and not trailers or whatever, they're just really really close together.

Went back to the Hoover dam today, haven’t seen it in over a decade.
Sadly this dude jumped 900 ft to his death right as we got there. Was up there when we were on the bridge. Drove down to the dam, took this pic and 3 seconds later he jumped. I probably took his last picture. Sad.

yeah but even in Vegas, they are all side by side. My sister in laws house in Vegas does not even have enough space between it and the one beside it to drive a full size truck. I fail to see how the fire codes allow them to be built so close , especially in a place like the Vegas desert.
When I was involved with ocean front design in Myrtle Beach SC, we had to horse trade all the time to get fire dept access. Now it's like who gives a fuck. And keep in mind , these houses do not have fire sprinklers. I honestly do not understand it.
