Some of that very slightly reminded me of doing work in Sketch Up or 3D Fusion for woodworking projects. At the beginning I tried to draw cubes what not and connect individual boards which ultimately ended up being extremely frustrating to get correct. Eventually I just drew profiles on a 2d plane to get my basic shape and extruded / shaped it into 3d to get correct board lengths, angles, radius, etc.

Woke up right as Ludum starting. Theme is "Old Tech" which is alot like "Ancient Technology" from a few years ago. I'm super addicted to monsters & mems so I might skip this one.
