Of course you can. Nobody with any sense at all pays 30 bucks a month for GPU. Right now it's ~$36 (Eneba) for a 6 mo. GP Essential key which converts to 72 days of ultimate. 5 keys for a year works out to roughly $15 a month.
dev says gamepass deals are currently frozen, stuff is usually inked 6-12 months (if not longer) in advance so prob won't see the effects right now but it wouldn't be shocking if only shovelware games are on gamepass within the next year or two
