I'm one of the unfortunate souls that bought a Jaguar too.

The only good game I remember was AVP.
I had a friend who had one. I remember Rayman being really cool looking visually at the time. Tempest 2000 was the only game I remember playing on it a lot, had a banging soundtrack and fun visuals for us stoned teenagers.

Been a while now, since he started taking long trips there. Then he started in on the US and Trump.

I'll take his good with his bad. He does things no other mainstream tech channel does, like his factory tours and sitdowns with engineers from instead of PR people. His politics I agree are getting annoying. He does think small and naively; most recently talking about AMD lobbying $1,000,000 towards Trumps as some sort of massive conspiracy. AMD, with ~$35B in revenue that in large part depends on favorable trade markets, lobbying with literal pocket change is somehow shady and not just a normal part of business. Same with Intel and Nvidia. I think it started with the NZXT fire investigation (which was a legit issue), bu then GN kept looking for the next scam and they missed the mark as often as they hit it.

I do give him a pass on it because that same thinking is what led them to feud with Linus and LTT. He took offense that LTT with it's 100+ workforce was throwing a shot as his ~6 man team and HUB's 3 man team. Years later, former LTT people admit that caused real financial harm.

The factory tours are unique and interesting, they get engineers instead of PR people to talk about tech (bridges might be burned now, at least with Nvidia and maybe AMD), and they've called out and/or sat down with companies like Newegg, Asus, Asrock for shady practices with unedited interviews. Steve/GN help keep the middle ground more palatable when they push so hard from the left.
