I think it's more like generic open world RPG stuff than Destiny Warrior. No idea about the continent/lore, couldn't be bothered looking into it, looks somewhat different.

The game has been in development for at least a good 5+ years at this point. It's either vaporware or they'll never end up finishing it before running out of money. BDO is still relatively "steady", but they've lost like 20%ish of their playbase since August.

Its refreshing seeing that someone is still developing games that don't look like a Queer Polycule

Every MMO starting with WOW has looked like absolute ass. Wonder if this will actually be worth playing or just worth looking at.

The short preview did have the feel of a classic Indiana Jones film (the one where they are on the frozen boat in the mountains) - cautiously optimistic if they can really recapture the classic film vibes

As if people didnt see the writing on the wall for that one. Of course theyre going to blame their failure on white straight males, as usual.

The thing that annoys the piss out of me when it comes to projects as big as Concord that failed - is even I, with no game dev experience, could have steered that project into a better predicament with that much money. I'd probably still fail, but I wouldnt fail THAT bad.

That's the wrong perspective though. You don't have the proper background and experience to set THAT much money on THAT much fire. I mean, that's just a whole lot of fire.
