Unfortunately I sold all mine. I have built up a pretty substantial SNES and GameCube collection though.

No worries brotha! If you have a copy of Wario World try and keep it as long as possible. Its one of the more rare Game Cube games and highly sought after, finding another one if you wanted to play it again might be tough and around $100.

I had so many hours in goldeneye back in the day. Killer Instinct Gold was also my jam, my brother and I would play those two like it was our full time job.

Somewhere along the way in a move, my case with my N64 and controllers and golden Zelda cart, MM, Smash Bros, StarFox and my Pokémon Yellow GBC and original blue/red/yellow/gold/silver carts got lost. It haunts me to this day.

I always thought Glacius being an alien Sub Zero was a cool idea, being able to melt and reform was super annoying to fight against if your opponent is handy with the button sequence.

I was living alone , I was doing electrical work and as an electrician you at times have left over large copper wire. I would pile it up and when it got semi large I would spend a weekend stripping it and selling it for cash. I did that living in Hamlet NC (middle of fucking nowhere famous for burning a lot of people up in a chicken processing plant Hamlet chicken processing plant fire - Wikipedia ) and drove 2+ hours to Charlotte NC to buy a Jaguar 64, what a fucking letdown. That was the biggest piece of shit nothing. Graphics were mindblowing for the time but the game support was shit and that controller sucked hard. That's also about when I called my mom and asked her if she thought it was smart to buy a PC. I was afraid to spend a lot of money on one and 'not play it'. Well that Pentium 90 Packard Hell PC was played the fuck out of and I never looked back.

I've been in the electrical field since I was 18. Howz about eating a dick?

EDIT: Not sure why that hit me that way. The 'meth boyz' are why I stopped scrapping wire. That and having to give a thumbprint to recycle soda cans because of wire theft.

N64 had some of the best and some of the worst 3D games I've ever played. It's hard to reconcile that the same system that had Mario 64, Ocarina of Time, Goldeneye, Mario Kart 64, Lylat Wars, Turok 2 and Perfect Dark also had Superman (at least I didn't buy THAT one) and Mission Impossible (my least favorite game I've ever owned probably).
That's just the early 3D era in general. When devs did things right we got some truly brilliant, creative, and unique stuff, but when they did it wrong the results were awful.

I assume we're talking about main controllers and not gimmicks...

I've never actually used it, but as a kid, the Atari Jaguar controller looked absolutely retarded. How many games needed a full number pad?

Don't know, maybe it wasn't actually bad to hold - the Dreamcast controller looked really wonky but felt ok in the hands.
That is actually the rare updated and improved Jaguar Pro controller, the original was even worse. I have both, and while the pro feels closer to something I would actually enjoy using, the Jaguar controller probably remains one of the worst controllers I have ever used. That dial pad is a total throwback to the old now forgotten consoles of the 80's where they would have some number pad with some card like overlays you would put over them that would have unique actions mapped to them for whatever game you were playing. The whole concept was a throwback to an era when they were experimenting with how many buttons games would need and how to go about user interfaces for them, which is why it's so incredible to see that on a console from the 90's like the Jaguar, they truly should have known better by then but the whole situation shows off the outdated approach that did Atari in back then.

Diddy kong racing (easy better then Mario kart ever was I'll die on this hill)

There is no hill to die on here. I don't think anyone would argue with you. Diddy Kong racing was one of the best games on N64 period, cross genre. That game was a goddamn masterpiece.

Late SNES into N64 RARE was the greatest game development studio maybe ever.

If you or anyone else here for that matter has anymore N64 Games you would consider parting with please message me, I'm willing to pay good money. I am always trying to preserve classic hardware especially N64 and Game Cube.

A working copy of StarFox 64 is high up on my list.
I think my sister still has a couple games hanging around. Nothing super notable iirc. Unless genghis khan tickles your fancy

I loved the N64 because of Golden Eye and some WWF/WCW wrestling game. Four player was awesome.

Not gonna lie, I am far too drunk right now to commit to any business currently. Hit me up with a private message listing any game cartridges and I will give it a look tomorrow when I have to face the cold light of day.

I had Zelda Ocarina of Time, Golden Eye, and Star Wars Rogue Squadron for the N64 and Chrono Trigger for Super NES and poor naive younger me thought I’d never need another game. Those were the days.

Commodore 64 did that for me, as a kid. My dad had some jet fighter game and he explained how it made sense. I was southpaw my entire life until a couple years ago when my kid would trade off controller to me and we were having to switch it because he couldn’t grasp southpaw. I said “Fine I’ll deal with your weird ‘up goes up’ configuration” and got used to it within a day. I was surprised how fast I adjusted.
You are actually thinking of inverted, I play southpaw, which is where on a twin joystick controller, the left stick becomes your camera control and your right stick becomes your movement. And I’m inverted, so literally an ass backwards retarded helicopter. I’ve always loved being at LAN parties with my friends back in the Halo days and someone would try to swap out with me and have a stroke trying to figure out how to play with my settings. I can pick up a regular setup (left stick moves and right stick looks {still needs to be inverted}) and play okay, just a bit worse aim, used to absolutely piss my friend off. Star Wars Rogue Squadron is probably why I’m broken without inverted y axis settings. I’m also only inverted on controller, mouse/keyboard I’m normal.

There definitely are some stinkers in there for sure.

I remember renting Superman 64 at my local Hollywood Video. The game sucks ass... I spent hours flying through those dastardly rings getting to the next challenge, only to fail. You know what happens after? That's right! Back to the rings at the start.

The only good part was the free fly mode where you could explore the city.
Superman 64 ironically is considered one of the worst games of all time
