I assumedWait, are we talking raw onions cut into discs, slathered in butter or something? That's kind of fucked up.
I mean raw onions are good, but if you're going to introduce butter they need to be caramelized.
I do like fresh grown spring onions just soaked in salt brine, how many of you dip them in cracked pepper. Best with good sharp cheddar and summer sausage and crackers. That's something my grandpa used to always eat, and like most grandpas, they typically knew best.
