Majority of Open world games don’t respect your time.

I’m thankful when games label themself as that so I know to avoid them. (Elden Ring was an exception, but even then, I think it would’ve been better with more linear layout like dark souls 3).

Yep. I finally recently finished Spiderman from like 2018. Holy hell. I basically skipped all non required checkbox activities in the dlc story. You’re max level. I stopped upgrading everything because it felt blah and I was steam rolling the story. Just too much fucking busy work and I’d argue despite repetitiveness that one had fun busy work.

I loved Spider-Man 64 when it came out. I borrowed someone’s PS4 and bought Spider-Man 2018 a few years ago to play it. I got a few hours in before quitting.

I would swing to point a. Cut scene. Swing to be. Cut scene. Etc. It was basically just a cut scene simulator and it was so annoying and had so little gameplay between cut scenes that I just stopped playing it.i skipped all the side missions after one or two of them.

I don’t mind the occasional cut scene like in Halo CE or Dead Space: that’s fine. But it should be kept to a minimum and the cut scenes should be less than a minute. I’m playing a game, not watching a movie.

I’ve pretty much learned not to play any PS games on PC bc of this (except hell divers).

I’m definitely pick this up. Apparently due to its early access it will only have 1 chapter at the moment. The other chapters will come included with the base price so I don’t think they’re dlc based on this video

Someone help me find a game.

Nintendo or Playstation (not on PC outside of emulator)
Turn Based Tactical Combat similar to Shining Force, Langrisser, Unicorn Overlord
Fantasty / Medieval. But it has tanks and similar magitech.
Battle Scenes just like Shining Force.
Tanks and other units can attack from several tiles away.

Any thoughts?

Nah. Im surprised I havent heard of that one, though.

I want to say the tank, in the trailer/preview I saw, was in an "overwatch" stance sort of like XCOM has with units. When the opposing unit came into the firing range on that road that the unit has to follow (not free roam grid base) - it fired upon him. But it still had the Shining Force / Langrisser action sequences.

Cant think of any medieval setting with tanks. Maybe this game has some unique units?
