D&D today is not only gay, but also retarded.

Same w/ modern WarCraft or 40K.
40k isn't gay, they just hate aliens!

But seriously, they let in way too much gay shit with Warhammer.

A few days ago I started watching a Dawn of War 4 video when they had a clip of the developers and there was a rainbow flag behind them. I rage-clicked out.

Now I'm thinking about that PS3 exclusive Lair by the team that did Star Wars Rogue Squadron.

It looked cool, but don't think I ever played it because Sony needed to shoehorn their gyro controller, and they never even patched in normal controls.
That game sprung to mind immediately.

That dev studio was a great example of what not to do.

The game not being meant to be controlled with the six axis according to the developers themselves is pretty eye opening.

Talk about a complete mess that could have been at least partially fixed up if Sony let the devs who knew better patch it from the start with analog controls.

Genuine question: in any point in 40K history, did they ever bring up romance or sexuality? As far as I remember it’s just always been grim dark and about killing. Not about what the characters are sexually attracted to.

just seems really odd.

that and of course retconning the Custodes as always being female (or whatever class it was).

it’s a real “Oceania has always been at war with Eastasia” situation.

No because it had zero relevance to the universe or lore. The custodian thing is also fucking stupid.

Those morons are pandering to an audience that doesn’t exist as their customer base and never will.

It's practically the least sexual thing imaginable and could be boiled down to space racism in the best possible way. Every faction wants to annihilate the other, often in the most overkill, gruesome manner, and that's "the basic plot." Everything else has been parasites latching onto another straight male hobby.

In-universe, all of the degenerate, rainbow alphabet stuff would receive a worse welcoming than in the middle of Gaza.

There is zero romance, the most sexuality is the Adeptus Soritas, who are essentially female nuns wearing armor/boob plates, so the whole thing has always been very straight male oriented, so the exact opposite of the rainbow brigade. The closest exception is Slaneesh, but that is just the degen wing of literal demons.

Anyone waving a rainbow flag or *wretches* paints their models like the different fag flag variants seriously has no business being in the same zip code near schools, but also Warhammer 40k. To reiterate, the fundamental politics are incongruent; left-wing, no borders people got lost if they think that they belong near an IP revolving around unending, genocidal, xenocidal war spanning the galaxy.

yes. but first and foremost its a wargame. not a dating simulation.

next factor, sex and relations 100% is a thing for Roguetraders, imperial gaurdsmen, nobles, and even Inquisitors.

Sex and relations is pretty much not a thing for Space marines. Partially due to conditioning and focus on the job. too busy doing their job when on the job. Surrounded by dude training when not on the job.
second, they are 12ft tall superhumans, encased in power armor. its unclear if they would even be capable... Certainly another problem with the "female space marine" idiocy. suddenly you now have compatible women, and geneseed breeding.. which would introduce mutation. they'd have to assert the women are specifically infertile.
on occasion you do have named characters who have relationships that could be considered relationships.

Sisters of battle are brainwashed to be entirely devoted to the Emperor and love him. But can also have sex and relationships.

Both Space Marines and Custodes are transhuman celibate warriors and monks who live only for the Emperor. Space Marine Chapters and the entire mythology draw heavily from Catholicism (not even kidding). They have the "Council of Nikea" in 40k and the Council of Nicea which was a real life event about the church.

Despite that they are musclebound gigachads there is nothing romantic about Space Marines. Or any of the 40k stuff. Other than what is pointed out above.

Wasn't there some sexual tension or implied attraction in one of the early Horus Heresy books with Mersadie and Garviel? I just remember something about watching him train and getting all hot and bothered.

No, no sexuality at all with space marines involved. They might realise, that humans watch them through that lens, but are just bewildered.
With non space marine books it may be hinted at or referenced, but it never is a main focus of any story I read so far. There is an occasional she is sexy and has big boobs, but thats the extent of it basically. Hardly any romantic stuff and relationships form through shared hardships and battles.

I hope these faggots don't ruin my safe space.

I mean she can get all hot and bothered she wants. I always took it that the process to make you into a Space Marine or Custodes makes you sterile. The laundry list of mental brainwashing, surgical, alchemical, and cybernetic enhancements turning you into an inhuman killing machine without the physical or mental capacities for human romance.

Your millennium long living killing machines would be greatly degraded if they had relationships and other loyalties.

It’s been too long and I couldn’t remember if it was one sided or reciprocated by Garviel in any way. It was just the only real instance I can remember where that topic came up in the first 7-8 books I read. Well, unless you count the huge ship wide hell orgy stuff in Fulgrim. Forgot about that.

I need to pick those back up or at least find a list of the good ones instead of reading 8,000 of them.

I've played a handful of the video games, but never read the lore, books, or the tabletop games.

I've played:
- Space Marine 1 + 2
- Necromunda Hired Gun
- Boltgun
- Deathwing
- Space Hulk
- Dawn of War 3
- Dark Tide
- Shootahs, Guns, and Teef

I think the only one I 100%'d was Necromunda Hired Gun, but I played a good chunk of the rest.

It seemed apparent to me that in its creation, 40K was an amalgamation of Dune, Aliens, and the Holy Roman Catholic Church (Knights of Templar, the Crusades, etc). It is the complete opposite of what the degenerates have coopted it to be.

Not sure if yall have seen this short story, but it's pretty neat:

It’s funny because we never played any WH table top growing up but somehow played a ton of Necromunda.
